Dave Heard
(he/him) is a Boston Native who began his acting career on stage, touring nationally and internationally with Broadway’s Hairspray. He went on to join the international tour of Dreamgirls, and to perform with several theater houses across New England before making the leap to the big screen. Dave graduated from Fordham University with a BA in English/Creative-Writing and while there, studied at the Alvin Ailey School of Dance, NYC. Additionally he is officially a Master Educator, earning an MA in Integrated Arts Education from Plymouth State University where he performed in TIGER: Theater Integrating Guidance, Education, and Responsibility. Dave’s teaching style employs elements of Dance, Social Emotional Learning, and Imagination and Improv to meet children where they are at +1!
