Ben Lieberson
Technical Director (He/Him/His) is a lifelong theater-maker, artist, and resident of the Boston area. Prior to joining WFT@BU, Ben was the Scene Shop Supervisor for Wellesley College Theatre and freelanced as a Technical Director for companies including Actors’ Shakespeare Project, Company One, Arlekin Players Theatre, and Liars & Believers. Ben’s set designs have been seen at ASP, MIT Theatre Arts, Legion Theatre Project, Fresh Ink Theatre, and Flat Earth Theatre, among others. Ben is also a member of Clerestory Light, a design firm that produces immersive events, including NightWood at The Mount, a ¾ mile long self-guided experience featuring lighting, sculpture, and original music on the grounds of Edith Wharton’s estate in Lenox, MA. Ben holds a BA in Visual Arts from Marlboro College. Contact.
