ABOUT THE SHOW

A hit on Broadway,ย A Year with Frog and Toadย was nominated for three Tony Awards โ€“ including Best Musical. Based on Arnold Lobel’s well-loved books, and featuring a hummable score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows two great friends โ€“ the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad โ€“ through four fun-filled seasons.

Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part makeย believe…ย all charm,ย A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons.ย (MTIShows.com)

PRESS

‘Life often feels defined by its big moments. But, asย A Year with Frog and Toad reminds us, the beauty of life often lies in the small, simple moments โ€“ baking cookies, tending to blossoms, and writing letters. These intimate expressions of love transcend grand celebrations, offering warmth and a sense of peace. The show celebrates these quiet joys, leaving the audience feeling not only comforted but changed.’ – Theater Mirror

‘A Year with Frog and Toad is perfect sweater weather theatre.ย  If youโ€™re in the holiday mood, however, this production may be just the warm and fuzzy 80-minute escapism you (and any kids in your life) are looking for.’ – New England Theatre Geek
