Marie Libbin
Assistant Director of Education (she/her/hers) is a Boston-based theater artist and educator. Prior to joining WFT, Marie lived in London, where she received her MSc in Creative Arts & Mental Health from Queen Mary University of London. She then worked with several London-based theatre companies, including working with women who have been impacted by the criminal justice system and young people who have been excluded from mainstream schools. Marie’s passion lies in the intersection of theater, education and community. She strongly believes in the healing and community-building power of the arts. Uplifting and empowering young people and marginalized voices is at the center of her practice. Marie is also a singer, actor and lover of musical theatre.
