Larry Sousa (SDC)
made his WFT@BU debut as the choreographer of Matilda. He has directed and choreographed musicals at theaters from coast to coast, including Goodspeed Musicals, the Garry Marshall Theatre in Los Angeles, Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, Toronto’s Creativiva — and here in Boston at Speakeasy Stage, Lyric Stage, Boston Children’s Theatre, Gloucester Stage, Reagle Music Theatre, Boston Gay Men’s Chorus, and many more. He is in his 5th year as director and choreographer of Harvard’s legendary Hasty Pudding Show. Larry is a recipient of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award, the L.A. Ovation Award, multiple IRNE Awards, and more. He has performed in numerous TV sitcoms, films, commercials, and several musicals on Broadway. Larry is a Professor of Musical Theatre at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and is currently the J. Donald Monan Distinguished Guest Artist in Theatre at Boston College.
